Can anyone please confirm if there is a fast fall setup.
@ Traveller,
Below most of the ST averages, there could be only "Fast falls", if any.

If so, then the next move will be of around 60 points.(equality)

Options for EW lables are getting more & more convoluted !
Another , Alt. plausible EW Lable set :-)
1 5629 5268 -361
2.w 5268 5459 191
2.x 5459 5223 -236
2.y 5223 5382 159
3.1 5382 5184 -198
3.2 5184 5244 60 -30.3%
Wave 3.3 may have started @ 5244, will be confirmed by Breakdown below 5184
Tgts: Min 138.2%x3.1
3.3 5244 4970.364 -273.636 138.2%
When price is knocking down the floor, it doesnt make sense looking thru EW for the ceiling, and that's y i salute this blog & Illango ji for introducing the world of Hi-Lo EMAs :-)
@ Indus

@indus & venkatapaty
i think the view was for upside holding 5196
@ LV,
If this corrective upmove is a zigzag(abc), then the
a: 5184 to 5244=60 points.
b: Should not go below 80% of 60 points @ 5196.
c: 5199+60=5259 a likely target. It could also be 0.618 times 60 points - 5236..
If it breaks 5196, the intra correction may have been over and another impulsive move down is possible.
So the 60 points was meant for upsides from 5199 with 5196 as SAR.
5200 Put OI is still not winding up... and is highest in
puts... so put writers looks confident about 5200 level.
@Nilesh Ji,

@ Bizagra,
Nifty trading below LEmas,impulsive action, would offer a reselling opportunities around LEmas and at best around Close emas. Yesterday was an eventful day that it offered near HEma.
"5245"-DEma and "5270"-Day Pivot.
5200 puts started heavily unwinding??? anybody observation
H&S pattern in 2 min. charts. break of 5196--5200 zone to give min. 40 points downside.
sir you said below 5196 another impulsive move is possible.....but 200 dma stands at 5168 and also daily as well as hourly looks OS
@sam in nse page i am seeing 1.5 lac addition with 77 lacs oi
@ DR Sir
Please any Holi song. please post for me and for us.

@PS I mean from today's high... 7980000 was highest OI
now below 77LK
Illango ji,
For time pass , was just playing with 18 & 34EMA on google-finance
Wot wud u say about this HIGH PROBABLITY sytem to trade:
1. ENTER : Go long /short , When price breaks ABOVE / BELOW 34EMA on 30mins Charts
2. EXIT : When price hits 18EMA on 5mins T/F !!
Does this seem sensible sir , pls check :-)
urs
Alert 5200 puts winding up now below 76lk
Dear All,
Here is the link of historical data from google finance.
http://www.google.com/finance/getprices?q=NIFTY&x=NSE&i=3600&p=365d&f=d,c,o,h,l&df=cpct&auto=1&ts=1266701290218
you can customize the link
q= stock symbol on Google finance
x= exchange symbol
i= interval (here 60 means 60 sec (1 minute interval))
p= no of period(here 5d denotes 5 days of data)
f= parameters (day, close, open, high and low)
df= difference (cpct is may be in % change )
I've put i=3600 as it is hourly data p=365 for 1 year..you can try
with other values.

sreyO

O good thanks Sreyo
Welcome Sandy.
Hiranyakashyap must have been a great Elliotician, to save himself
he enumerated all the possibilities, but the market (GOD)outsmarted him.
@Satheesh:
Any pattern forming here?
This kind of volatility is generally before Trend reversal?
@ Bharat,
Break of "5196" negates the zigzag view.
Based on previous day's TA, we could initiate two intrday trades:
1. A bounce off "5175-95 zone.
2. After a 5-wave upmove to 5244(DLEma), a retracement trade.
Now it is mostly guess work.
One could trade based on 21 ema or 34 ema of 5 min chart, the link provided under "Live markets to watch" as "Nifty Spot-Live".
