Wish you and your family a Happy Pongal, Lohri & Makar sankranti.

Staying above "6192", strength returned to take it past 61.8%-80% zone of 6276-6314, also the earlier cluster resistance zone. Major resistances are @ 6314, 80% and 6343-58, earlier highs.
Earlier resistances @ 6222-36 should act as a support, failing which weakness would return.
Prices are within a consolidating band whose "high" is coming down each hour with its midpoint @ 21/34 Hr Smas. (Refer Hour chart)
Though prices have closed above "DHEma", weekly technicals are likely to give resistances @ the major resistances. For traders, it would be buy on declines upto 6222-36 based on day T/f technicals.

Happy Diwali..

Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth. She is the most popular goddess in India. Her image can be seen in Buddhist, Jain and Hindu shrines. Her image can be seen in cash counters and business establishments across India. She is seen seated on a lotus, holding lotus flowers and a pot of grain, with gold coins emerging from her palm.
A study of this goddess enables us to understand how ancient Indians thought about wealth and economics. There are many who keep telling me: ‘actually’ Lakshmi is not just about money, she is also about ….. This stems from the Indian discomfort with money that can be (allegedly) traced to Gandhian philosophy and to monastic orders of India.

Pongalo...pongal and Happy Sankranthi.

"Sell on Rises" was the latest signal from "Friday's close" in week T/f.
There could be newer signals this morning & @ EOD.
Combine these two, you'll have a good trade set up that would be highly rewarding.
If the current fall is "C" of 4 th wave, you'll have a "c.ii" to initiate a trade to complete the correction towards 5825.
If it is the "larger C" wave, you'll still have some rise to initiate a trade for the larger fall.
If it is the "c of (iv)" wave, it is a buy for the short term above 5931 for the (v) th wave, the last one.
If it is the "c of (2) wave, it would still be a buy around 5930 for the (3)rd wave, the larger upmove.
So many possibilities...deal with it using tech.table or simply the JNSAR or take the "short term signals" and closely "follow the prices".

Happy Dussehra

A day of celebrations of good over evil.
We celebrate "Ram's victory over Ravan". And it happened thousands of years ago. And we continue to do celebrations and stopped at that. Only a handful have gone on to fight the good fight to overcome the evil within us. Others simply complain of the evil around us.
Nothing can manifest around you if it does not reside in you.
If corruption is around you, kill the corruption inside you first and the external corruption will come to an end. It would take years but that is "the only way". The impatient one gets nothing done.
If there is ignorance around you, light a lamp of knowledge within you.
"Pick my brain" & don't "pick on me"; and pick up "something" from my observations as well as from the few "seniors" here. Understand firstly that market is dynamic...a continually changing place.
And if you find that difficult, you need to brush up on the basics again & again before entering here.

Stock market is "the most" wonderful place to make money "for the prepared".
And stock market is "the most hellish place" to loose money "for the unprepared".
What are you?
Are you prepared?...prepared with a plan and applying yourself? The measure of your preparedness should reflect in your successes. If there is no success, then you have still not reached that "preparedness".
If you're you not prepared? - Go away, spend good amount of time preparing yourself, while watching the market with detachment but only for study purposes while "saving money for the capital".
Do you find the market difficult to "master", Stay away till you master the market study & its application.
Persons who have no focus would indulge in all kinds of activities except the one that matters the most -"of making money".

Stay focused on the purpose of making money.
Stay prepared.
This is the only way to master your way around to make money. Sportsmen don't whine; they just get on with the next attempt and the next and on & on. They carry on with continuous preparations against the opponents who change everyday and each challenge is faced with a new preparation. Each game is played with gay abandon but with sharp focus and with the seriousness it deserves.
If you do not consider it serious enough, it'll reflect in your results. Rarely a sportman blames another for his defeat. He owns up, reflects on it cool headedly, learns something new and move on more prepared.
Move on.

Get Rich Slowly and Quietly.
Happy Dussehra. May Lord Ram's blessings be showered on you.

Start today,  if you haven't already or failed, to study in depth of that which alone can guide you.
Start today,  if you haven't already or failed, to sit through without a chatter in a trending market.
Start today,  if you haven't already or failed, to get rich slowly and quietly.
May Lord Ganesha break down all the barriers &
give you the inner strength and will power
to stay the course for eternity.

Eid Mubarak ....... Peace be upon you & your family.

In a small village in the valley, there lived a man who was always happy, kind, and well disposed to everyone he met. He always smiled and had a kind and encouraging word to say whenever necessary. Everyone who met him left feeling, better, happier and elated. People knew they could count on him, and regarded him as a great friend.
One of the village dwellers was curious to know what his secret was, how could he be always so kind and helpful? How is it that he held no grudge towards anyone and was always happy?
Once, upon meeting him in the street he asked him: "Most people are selfish and unsatisfied. They do not smile as often as you do; neither are they as helpful or kind as you are. How do you explain it?"

19 empty eggs that were full of LIFE..

Happy Hanuman Jayanti
(Thank you, Gauresh for reminding me of this auspicious occasion)
******************************************************************************
Jeremy was born with a twisted body, slow mind, and chronic terminal illness that had been slowly killing him throughout his young life. Still, his parents had tried their best to give him as normal of a life as posible and sent him to St. Theresa's Elementary school.
At the age of 12, Jeremy was only in second grade, seemingly unable to learn. His teacher, Doris often became exasperated with him. He would often disturb the class by squirming in his seat. drooling, and making grunting noises.

Happy Holi..Women's Day.

Holi is a festival of joy. People burn useless things on the eve of Holi which signifies burning of all ill-will and hatred. It is the most fun filled festival of India.
And women in our lives bring all the colours and fun to our living making it a complete rainbow. It is doubly joyous that this year women's day too has fallen on "Holi Day", the festival of colours.
To all the women..who add shades of various colours to our lives...bring out the best in us.

Maa Tujhe Salaam... Vande Maataram

IT was just another Sunday. Lazy souls like me generally prefer an extra hour of sleep on Sunday mornings. I jostled out of the blanket and with reluctant steps toddled to the bathroom. Once out, I settled myself upon the sofa, tucked myself with a shawl and before taking the first sip from my coffee cup, flicked on the TV. Seeing the parade on the screen it suddenly occurred to me that it was 26 January, our Republic Day. Somewhere deep within me everything got scrambled and I could no longer remain in ease.
26th January Scraps, Comments, Greetings
The parade was on. Our freedom was being exhibited in strict discipline.

Forgiveness, thy name is Christmas..

My dad had as much pride as anybody, I suppose, so he wouldn’t just say that we couldn’t afford one. When I mentioned it, my mother said that we weren’t going to have one this year, that we couldn’t afford one, and even if we could – it was stupid to clutter up your house with a dead tree.

I wanted a tree badly though, and I thought – in my naïve way – that if we had one, everybody would feel better. About three days before Christmas of 1949, I was out collecting for my paper route. It was fairly late – long after dark – it was snowing and very cold.
I went to the apartment building to try to catch a customer who hadn’t paid me for nearly two months – she owed me seven dollars. Much to my surprise, she was home. She invited me in and not only did she pay me, she gave me a dollar tip! It was a windfall for me – I now had eight whole dollars.

Happy Gurpurab!!

Guru Nanak Jayanti - extensively celebrated as Gurpurab across India and the world - is one of the several auspicious religious festivals in Sikhism observed to commemorate and remember the birth and philosophy of Guru Nanak, first Sikh Guru and founder of Sikhism. Sikhs and ardent followers of Guru Nanak remember him by celebrating Guru Nanak Jayanti with great enthusiasm that usually falls on Kartik Poornima. Admirers will observe Guru Nanak Jayanti 2011 on the month of November, which is also declared as a gazetted holiday in India.
Leading the life of a wanderer for almost 12 years, Guru Nanak Devji left for the Himalayas. As per the record, it was there that he had the first direct experience of God.

Eid Mubarak.

STory of Sacrifice: When Ismael became a young boy, God spoke to Abraham and commanded him to take his son to Mount Moriah and offer him as a sacrifice to God. This was God’s test of Abraham’s faith. Abraham loved his son very much, but did not hesitate to follow God’s words for he was a man whose faith in God was strong. As Abraham and his son reached the place where the sacrifice was to be performed, Ismael said to his father, “Father, where is the lamb that is to be sacrificed?” Abraham replied, “My son, God will provide the lamb”.
It is not known how eventually Abraham told his son that he was to be the sacrifice, but Ismael courageously laid on the sacrificial place ready to be sacrificed for god. As Abraham was taking out his knife, his hands were trembling. He was about to sacrifice his son when heard the voice of God saying, “Abraham, Stop! Do not hurt your son. You have proven your faith and shown how much you love Me by willing to sacrifice your son for Me. Therefore, I shall bless you and your family, and through you, I shall bless all the nations on earth”. God also provided a lamb for the sacrifice. Abraham went home along with his son, and their hearts full of love and faith.

Happy RamNavami

Sri-Ramnavami is dedicated to the memory of Lord Rama. It occurs on the ninth day (navami). The festival commemorates the birth of Rama who is remembered for his preperous and righteous reign. Ramrajya (the reign of Rama) has become synonymous with a period of peace and prosperity. Mahatma Gandhi also used this term to describe how, according to him, India should be after independence.

Sri Ramnavami occurs at the beginning of summer when the sun has started moving nearer to the northern hemisphere. The Sun is considered to be the progenitor of Rama's dynasty which is called the Sun dynasty (Raghukula or Raghuvamsa, Raghu means Sun and Kula or Vamsa mean familial descendant). Rama is also known as Raghunatha, Raghupati, Raghavendra etc. That all these names begin with the prefix Raghu is also suggestive of some link with Sun-worship. The hour chosen for the observance of the lord's birth is that when the sun is overhead and is at its maximum brilliance. In some Hindu sects, prayers on Ramnavami day start not with an invocation to Rama but to Surya (sun). Again the syllable Ra is used in the word to describe the sun and brilliance in many languages. In Sanskrit, Ravi and Ravindra mean Sun.

Happy New Year

A very Happy & Prosperous New Year to our dear Kannada, Telugu, Marathi & Sindhi friends..
"Don't Lie to yourself" is possible if you can start loving what you do and once you do that, everything else disappears from your consciousness and you are totally "One with the job/mission in hand". (Power of Now) Such a person generates tremendous amount of energy while carrying out his work instead of spending & getting tired. You become like "Solar cells"...self generating energy continuously that it becomes one seamless journey.

Promise kept..Faith affirmed.

The glitter of green stones drew me to the solitary display case. The light bounced off the silver and glass. Amidst the jumble of holiday shoppers, I made my way to the corner area reserved for fine jewelry and gazed upon the bracelet, noticing the unique handiwork. The beaten silver, fashioned in such a way as to resemble diamond chips, was delightful. Seeing dozens of dark green emeralds, I knew this was a one-of-a-kind treasure.

As I stared in wonder at the intricate piece, I remembered a promise my husband had made. David had bought me a lovely gift four years before on our honeymoon. He had selected an emerald green Austrian crystal and seed pearl bracelet in honor of my May birthstone. As he fastened it on my wrist, he lovingly said, "I promise you that soon I will buy you real emeralds. Just wait." Though I loved the honeymoon gift, deep down I looked forward to David’s promise.
