In this context I remember the observation made by Badrji regarding Jan. closing fig and its impact in subsequent monthly closing.
Since the last day of the month happens to be expiry date and keeping Badri ji observation we may close above 5217. Please note this phenomena is not a rule.

21 hr sma at 4275....strong resistances
4987 is not only 61.8 % and it approx..co-incides with falling trend line resistance IF nifty has to break above today
