I have 5400PE bot at 45 Now it is at 27. What are the chances that I get my price back?
I was expecting 5450 and hence took the trade. Now since expiry is near and market trending sideways what would you suggest

Being stuck in a trading range of 5475 to 5600, it is possible with oversold hour TA. Staying above the pivot(5509), it is likely.
There are main resistances @ 5525(DEma)-5531(WLEma).
Failure to stay above 5509 and break of 5480 would lead to new lows below 5444.
As a tip ...for those who thinks buying a future lot is
costly ...can go for In the money options e.g 2-3 strike
price inside...and it gives return as equivalent to Futures
and without any risk of time decay

Out of Money Options are always very risky to trade near expiry, but they can give you unexpected return too. If u r worry about decay factor then u must get out of these options, my stop loss for aggressive short in Nifty is 5650 which i mentioned in my blog & for conservative is 5750 so u can take decision accordingly, if it suits.

as knows to all of you, i have been busy last few months mainly due to health issue, new accomodation issue, net availability issues and some personal reasons, due to which i was not able to update my trading blog regularly.
thought of, start updating it on regular basis, though not as frequent as earlier , but a start is a start.

I will do the same now, unnecessarily i was having money in trading a/c....thanx for idea. I alwaz said that one can not make money easily with so many Ifs & Buts so identify trend & then trade with full conviction with wise use of proper stop loss as our FIRE sir is doing nowadays, he completed his 70% shorts upto now.

I never said its the target, just read my blog again. My target for aggressive short is 5400-5350 area which i mentioned on sunday afternoon @1.42 pm. This 5440-5460 is a part profit booking zone but not target, i will cover my shorts partially there but i will resell it below 5440...its part of trading.
Both puts and calls are eroded today,,,
