It was neither premium in june nor discount in july. Its normal nifty management on the settlement day. nifty cash has also come down after the averaging leading into dicount of july series.
Prakashbkc mynac explained it yest. Some cunning shorts were added yesterday at close in July futures which led to the discount. But unfortunately those shorters must have covered it today morning after the gap up. Now bulls are comfortably in command till 5200 is not breached.

@ilango sir ...... sir i trade stock as per ur j10 SAR level wise as positional trading.... but now a days market running very volatile if any stock j10sar value is 1004... so i buy if stock sustained 1004 level ..how many times i wait? or any criteria..plss suggest... u suggest if nifty jnsar level 5060 buy approx 5080... so if any stock j10sar 1004 when i am buy this stock positionlay

Premium & discount may be considered only when they concur with technical analysis.
Premium & discount changes for various reasons.
Similarly the Pre-Market price action should be ignored.

11.00; 12.00;16.00 hr candles had O & L same.
