For intraday traders, weakness would be below 5124.

Presently resisted @ 61.8%-5157(High 5159).

haha.. morning suja:

As long as ur 3rd eye is "shant" we have no issues ;-)

Coming to the 5.e count , we may be doing the ZZ & take support as u hinted @ 5134 (34EMA.30mins)

Following lables can be possible for this 5th ZZ tgting 5174 (61.8%) - 5197 (100%)

5.e.A 5096 5159 63
5.e.B 5159 5135 -24 -38.2%
5.e.C 5135 5198 63 100.0%

Lets c if 34EMA supports, NO MORE PREDICTIONS :-)

Julius sir - I am using one and only No. for this whole year "calling mayan" will not change often. currently well abv my "no". but i will allow "my no" to float here and there i.e like "false breakout of 20-25 pnts" up or down watever it is. May be "i am playing utter foolish game" that's y kept quite abt the no. :D

Shriram-ji - nifty ji planning to eat SLs both the sides - if premium increases - longers should give up..if discount means - shorters should give up hehe wat a plan?? if at all ur no. achieved today then??? too early to say :P will post "tonight" @ if it comes but nifty needs "some cool off'

@Sujatha Sis,
ok. :) keep rocking. Ratios are working as
self-fulfilling prophesy. Any number will
work. Any levels derived from any swing
will work. As Mr.Illango said "Number is God".
Once I used ratios. After made mistakes on
14th & 15th of June. I focus on retracements
too. I am not mastered EW. But wish to discuss
one or two valid point as you suggested me
to use ratios along with CAM. Hope it will
benefit for both of us. If you wish kindly send
me a test mail.

@ Sujatha

With these patterns, (i.e., in the neck, on the neck and thrusting patterns), as prices move under the white candlestick’s low, the trader knows that it’s time to sell. (Note that the thrusting pattern in is bearish in a declining market, but as part of a rising market, would be considered bullish. The thrusting pattern is also
bullish if it occurs twice within several days of each other.)

Candles offer an idea; sometimes directs you to act; at other times cautions you, when you use other parameters to act. This incident I took as a warning to remain neutral.

Re-calib @ 11:00am

Time HrClose 5EMA 10EMA
10:00 5151 5130 5130
11:00 5150 5137 5134
5136 5136 5134

5-10HrEMA has given BULL x-over, Intra-day BULLS will have chances now, provided we close @ 12:00noon > 5136 (5hrEMA will turn down if so)

5136 is also the 34EMA, 30mins!

@Sujatha Sister,
Thanks. I am just a learner of this giant
market. Actually I planned to start few
realtime test of various pivot(with clear
rules - entry, exit, stop which will give
same test report in real). But time changed
my business place. I could not access blogs.
However I manage watching JNSAR & DRSAR through my rel-net. May be after some days we can test
few things. Happy to be here during trading

@ KRG: Agreed 100%! EW labling best done post-mortem, many alt counts possible on the FLY

5DEMA is trending up as of now, price is > 34EMA , price close > 5HrHiEMA .. and yet BIG RES ZONE @ 5190-5206 faces ahead on DAY TA..

so wot to do? simply follow the price: go long on dips intra & book out near Recent tops...

Guys who might have entered in short as per my last observation can exit at cost for the time being as FTSE open is approaching and not much down movement seen till that time. Will reenter shorts again at higher levels.

considering weekly high ema, daily high ema, R2 and fibo retrace level, 5150-5170 is not a good level to short conservatively ?

IDFC FUT ..131.95
IDFC CASH ..134.5

is it worth buying 130ca as fut may tend to move towards cash levels ??

Shriram: Apart from the channel & resistences as above, I feel that one has to watch for a move that is larger than 5190-5042 (being the sharpest correction so far; marked as small "a" above)in a faster time (may be less than 7 hourly candles !)

Kumar Technicals said...

Dear Shriram!

Thanx for giving EOD EW lesson here last night. I want to clear my confusion that can a wave 5 make a traingle as you suggested last night? Kindly guide....

Amol Sharma said...

foreign institutional investors bought a net INR 8 billion of Nifty futures Tuesday ???

Is it right ?

Ilango said...

@ shivanGupta,

The OI scenario paints a "Bullish picture".
(As per Sanjay Jaiswal's update)

JNSAR trend has been up despite intra day volatility.

Tata Steel seems to be in a hurry to recover "lost ground" but faces 424 as a tough resistance as do Nifty @ 5174-85.

Hints are for upsides only but accept price dips below 5124 as an early warning signal.

Prithvi said...

Open interest showing bullish marketm, trend is also UP.

Can we go long with 5120 as SL???

shriram said...

Kumar ji,

pranaam sir :-)

Motives can be of 2 types : Impulses & Diagonals
Diagonals can again be of 2 types "LEADING" & ENDING"

In a 5fifer MOTIVE WAVE:
W1 can be a LD & W5 can be an ED

Since SUB-FRACS waves A & C (of a CORRECTIVE) can also be MOTIVE, Wave A may be a LD & wave C may be an ED

Now in our case, am counting an EXPANDED FLAT "C"wave UP from 4770...
this is Impulsive ..within it last sub wave sw5 is seen as an ED :-)

We Are Traders - A Tribute to All Those Trading the Markets

Click captions on "CC" button

We traders and active investors are a largely misperceived breed. Our profession / discipline is also misunderstood. Trading, whether that of Forex, Futures, Stocks, Bonds or Options, is usually viewed as gambling by the public. It's seen as a way to get rich quick through luck. But there's so much more to it than meets the eye. Legitimate daytraders, swing traders, and active investors are true masters of their craft, rising above human nature to churn out profits consistently from the market. Just like great artists, athletes, and professionals train years to become proficient, so do great traders, honing their skills of analysis, risk control, and mental discipline to gain an edge in the markets. While doing so they also benefit the economy by adding liquidity. Despite this, the independent trader and investor is in an industry where his/her needs are unrecognized and unmet. Our goal is to change that by addressing their needs like never before.

The trader's journey is quite "lonely".

Sooner you start having some "Belief-system", happier & enriching the journey will be.

I may give you the "green signal" now but would I be around for the rest of the journey to change signals.

You have stated all the observations but now you must take those "Baby steps".......Alone.
