@prashant
NS was almost 80 down from hawala and similar is the case with NF. In your abobe analysis u have not mentioned 100-200 points up or down. pl if you could clarify.

how to watch hawala since 1994 go to the www.nseindia.com than click on F@O THEN go the Historic data then click on contract wise price volume data ,,then select instrument eg,,FUTIDX THEN SELECT symbol eg,,Nifty then select expiry date ,,eg,,30-12-2010,,,then select from date like if u watch 30-12-2010 future series then select prev expiry date like 25-11-2010 so u select from date is 25-11-2010 to date 30-12-2010 so u can watching about nifty future starting of dec (30dec expiry which start from 25-11-2010)
..hope u all understand ....

@Prashant - excellent study u have done and shared with us (simple trading method) hereafter will monitor moreeee. So r u expecting 5900 levels ?? after a bounce? Is this applicable for all indices + stocks?? if applicable means is it good for investment?? but expecting a bounce STOCH%K is completely "0' level. let us see.

anybody using "stockcharts.com" for EOD charts?? if so kindly provide me the link of "individual stock symbol column"(for nse and bse stocks) i am not able to trace. thanks n advance.

Prashant,

So, the month settle price is hawala price? Meaning for
entire Jan month, this 6101 is the relevant(hawala) price?
Apologies if I am asking naive doubts.

@prashant shah

prashantji,

one question, for hawala trading we have to see the expiry rate of next month series. for e. g. in january on the day of expiry we have to note down the expiry rate of faburary, am i right, please correct if i am wrong. also please tell where we can get the figure of next series expiry. thanks

@Prashant Shah,

Which level is halwala level for NS & NF?. I am not able to get levels of 30DEc2010 expiry from date 25-11-10 to 30-12-10.
On 30th 6101.85 is level. If this is hawala level, then why should we see levels from 25-11-10.
Chandra

Hawala rate u can take NF OR NS BUT NS HAWALA IS MORE CORRECT BEC NF IS SO MUCH PREMIUM ....AND I MENTION that if u back testing of entire of dec expirey i mean prev expiry so u can watch that and back testing of hawala of dec ..so u can able to do study and watch how hawala is working of entire Dec expiry... thanxs and u hope u understand

prashant shah said...

chandra ...if u back testing of dec hawala then u select from date to date eg.. if ur back testing of entire DEC hawala ... u have to click from date box and select date 25-11-2010 which is hawala expirey date then select to date box and select date 31-12-2010...

most traded indian ETF got huge spike in sell volume
at around 11.30 am EST. Its huge huge sell volume compared
to avg volume of this etf.
Not sure if this is pre-cursor to coming days downpressure

Dear prashant shah,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.As it is from Mumbai means direct from the trading ring so it has it's own importance.
You shared "my genral observation is when ever Nifty started to below Hawala rate Comfortabley then nifty has gone at list 100-200 point..."

but this time expecting 120 points means if it shall drift tomorrow then in the worst case scenario either NS or NF, it should stop around S1 i.e.6010,as it is very strong support downward.On the contrary up to 6010 lots of supports there but as it is trading below all prominent SMA's and EMA's,the worst case scenario is assumed.
Today's low for NF 6046.30 and close 6072.25.Even it crossed 6080 at least once,indicating intraday short covering,NF O.I. below 2 CR.These facts are slightly favorable for bulls but they should not expect immediate reversal tomorrow it self.
Huge addition of 19.35lac O.I.in 6100 CE shall decide the fate for NF-NS,whether writer was more powerful or the buyer.

Dear Prashant, very interesting.
A request - since you post here everyday - for 7 or 10 days - is it possible for you to put few lines daily (before 9.15 am) mentioning like "today's hawala rate is ..... and if NF auctions below/above it then it can go to....." this will really help all of us understand your method practically for few days till we get hold of it....hope that is not too much of a trouble...thanks

Local said...

prashant,
Sounds like a very interesting method, though my mind can't seem to absorb it (probably because of the simplicity:). Hawala sounds fascinating, but not being from mumbai makes it hard to understand. Sounds like a pivot pt?

I second Janak in that request - if you could post your hawala method real time for a few days, we can check out your idea. Thanks in advance!

Another strange thing I just noticed is that mynac and prashant said the same thing - mynac for jnSAR and prashant for hawala. Do mumbai traders use a particular language or is this a coincidence?:)

Just checked,at what time Nifty hit JNSR today.It was at 9.22 AM and at that time NF was 6108,means those who shorted NF at that time have got 50 points.
A general observation is there that whenever Nifty has started to trade below JNSR comfortably then Nifty has gone at least 100 points below from JNSR point.

prashant,
Correct me if I'm wrong, but these were the hawala rates for the last year by contract:

Apr 2010 - 5254
May 2010 - 5003
Jun 2010 - 5320
Jul 2010 - 5408
Aug 2010 - 5477
Sep 2010 - 6029
Oct 2010 - 5987
Nov 2010 - 5799
Dec 2010 - 6101

So the next month's Nifty prices are calculated as nifty trades either above or below that by 100-200 pts every day. Am I right?

mynac said...

Dear Yoda,
Dear Prashant also wants to say regarding Hawala on the same lines so might have taken just reference mere coincidence,Nothing else.

lol, ok, mynac. ty for clarification.:)
