sir i had a doubt ew says 61.8 retracement important. but u always say 80% for reversal. i did not find any reference for this percentage. is it ur own observeation?. even today when market just stopped short of 80 (5704) at 5698 . please clarify and guide when time permits.

Most corrections are of "Zigzag" in nature and "b" waves of zigzag will not retrace 80%.
Most parts of "triangle" too limit themselves to 80%.
However, a flat correction could retrace 100% and in an "irregular flat, more than 100%. Flat could be identified with the sub-waves of 'a", though it is a "subjective decision".
Overall, the strategy of selling @ 61.8% with a SL.80% works well.
Doctory and shock market trading both are same. In doctory, doctor is always thinking about his patients and try to learn from his patient. In stock market, a trader is always thinking about his trade and try to learn from each transaction. Both are passing sleepless nights.
Dear Ilango, Please correct me if I am wrong. one closing below the DLEMA is not enough. a follow up price action is required to confirm ANY downward momentum????
Once started, in both learning is a continuous process. That is what i want to say. My son is also a surgeon in Sayaji, at Baroda. And I know his mental position for his patients. Always thinking about them....round the clock.
Yes. Especially when we are viewing it as a "corrective".
@ Shriram,
Yes. That is a possibility. I have stressed the "time factor" to be monitored for the completion of correction since "time" would adjust the technicals as it did in the last many occasions.
