Because of settlement around, normal corrective behaviour gets extended and normal reading's assistance is limited.
In the second chart, prices are closer to the lower range of the channel. In the first chart, prices are closer to the break-out point.
OI inputs could help.

July 76/77 strikes has PCR <1 which is Bearish @ those strikes, but serious Res is @ 8K. looks like caution from bears ?

Trading is the Business of Businesses. But it needs the good Qualities of all 4 varnas:-
1. Intellect of a Brahman (to analyse H-prob / good R:R)
2. Courage & Discipline of Kshatriya (to execute fearless & repeatedly)
3. Street-smartness of a Vaishya (understand BHAAV & place SL to protect Body Capital) ; &
4. Humility & Service of a Shudra (stay put till Min. Logical Tgts with TSL)
Ur comment " Plz see 5-min chart. It's a clear bull flag." - falls in ambit of "1"
Pls note that all PATTERNS become hi-prob only when u have DATA to back them.. This Bull Flag may very well be so, but pls next time onwards, mention the DATA / INDICATOR CLUE that backs the PATTERN (makes it more H-probb) !
