If IV's increase now ( I see it happening) I will gain price wise and volatility wise.

Question for all the option experts - when options expire, is there a change/effect to the next months options ? Meaning, I see April 5000 PE at 54. There are more than 1 Cr Mar 5000 PE going to expire this week. My assumption is that these 2 are not related at all. Is that a valid assumption as far as any effect on April ? Assuming the market stays the same, Will there be a difference in option prices whether one buys the next month option before or after expiry of this month ?

A most likely close below 5220(Day ema) confirms the sell.
The Conservative shorts were created after making a "Long trade" in the morning.
This is a "mild sell signal".
Starting the fall from "OB" area gives us confidence to carry over.

Tatasteel has reached a low of 626.9, where it has just touched the channel line. What are the chances of breaking the line - you have mentioned breaking 625 will lead break the channel. Break the channelupto???? Please guide.

There are no positions in Unitech. It got stopped out @ 73.50 on 16th. Subsequent buy @ 69 - 70 did not come through and looking at the "OB" conditions, I withdrew the buy the next day.

assortZ - good for you. As I mentioned very Hard lesson learnt. Will NEVER go against the trend. Worser is 4 lot short is rescued with another 20. Shame on me.

I remember reading an article in another blog "chartreader.co.in" - from where I followed the link to Ilango sir's blog.
The author had mentioned that first all traders would make mistakes and blame market for that.
Next after trying out all tools will get few wining trades and get a feel that they have won over the market.
Again market will humble them by making them give "donations" - and finally the trader would oblige and listen to the market and become a seasoned trader.
I liked the word "DONATIONS" very much - apt for the situation.

Friday i thought to exit my nifty short, and suzlon. but my broker stopped that and asked to exit tata motors and sesagoa which was in long.
Now holding nifty, tata motors,unitech,suzlon shorts. God only can save me i think :)

I used to play CARDS when i was in college & University days. That time belief was, winning hand wins always until 1 lose reach. The same way belief was never change winning place.
With that belief only, I am doing trading. In Blog, I never lost any trade. Last trade I felt bad to close for loss even though Bank nifty given very good profit. So I started averaging it to make it win…. Very bad belief and bad habit…need to change
