Tata steel has prerun Nifty and weakened and shown its tendency to move lower. Till 580-590 will be considered as correction. Below 603, it will trigger that fall.

Got up late..yes that the problem with rsi and other indicators...lots of web site give different RSI values..thats why I make my own calculator...I would say use Ilango charts...I have experienced this problem with quote.com as well...I was thinking of getting i-charts...but if thats the problem ...I dump them
Calculation depend on two main inputs...one is formula other is values...one or both of them must be different in Icharts' case... I think that's the problem with yahoo as well...though I have not verified...as I dont you yahoo..be careful with data..I am sick of this problem

I download that volume digger utility..its getting data from yahoo...but i cannot get it in Amibroker...can you help?...In amibroker I get this white page....it says to plot any data at least 3 bars are need ...how to configure amibroker...and tutorial on amibroker on net...I have use metastock before new to amibroker

Started beleiving Ilango's words "Price tells the story". First it was HCL - went and bought based on tech table when sell calls were flying. Y'day eod bought NALCO based on Tech table. There is clear indication of "OS" with +ve divergence (short term) in the stock. Got out with profits from both counters.
Today noted BHEL,BPCL,CIPLA etc- when the broker gave call for BPCL I could tell him "Your next call will be BHEL". (He now thinks I am getting calls directly from his HO,before him. Must convince him !!!)

anuj, the close is diff but if they use exponential av of bar high and low closes, u can imagine how much results will be different.

you have to create a folder called "yahoo intraday data" in amibroker directory
and give path thereof in "myquote"
again you have change the "data base settings" in amibroker to tick and change also No. of bars as 1000 in database setting in amibroker

Due to any of the following reasons mentioned below may cause the problem
1. Amibroker must be registered one. In trial versions the data won't be saved.
2. First backfill using the volumedigger. Then u can use the live data from yahoo for charting.

One thing also, before starting to get RT Data in myquote, you have to select the path to amibroker in myquote, otherwise the data will not be taken to amibroker. Please keep this in mind.

I have a query about tech table updation. it was the post in which ilango sir mentioned abt updation. when I open the file the only thing that comes to my mind is I have to key in hourly values and daily values at the end of each hour.
Sir has written--

1.Charts are set for 400 weeks, 400 days & 400 hours. Every week or a month, adjust the data manually . For eg: If you need to add 40 days/hours, copy only from 43rd row "b,c,d,e-columns cells" and copy up to the last day/hour & more 50 cells & paste them on the 3rd row. Now clear the formulas in the last 40 rows.(Do not delete in the "Data" sheets anything).
Once you try to implement it, it just takes a minute of your week end time.
