Nifty PreMarket View

I have marked few numbers from TT and they show many resistances being @ 4989-4999 and many supports @ 4917-4930.
It is the weakness in Hour TA that has resulted in this current fall. How the uptrending daily TA would deal with it by protecting the supports and conquering the resistances during the time Hour TA reaches oversold status: If fails, then the day TA would turn down and Hour may only do a bounce from its Oversold conditions. This should play out in 1 or 2 days.

Sir One Query about JNSAR vis-a-vis JN10SAR and Pivot.

On 10th after the gap up of the 7th the latter 2 had moved strongly higher. And they have continued to move up along with the index. Whereas the JNSAR is still moving in the same 4894-4888 bracket (even today it is at 4880). So does JNSAR also incorporates the strength in the move besides only looking at price move. The reason i say so is because while looking at my stocks i found that the volumes on the 7th were nothing spectular when looked in context of the price movement. Which could mean only one thing that the strength was not there. So does the JNSAR or any model should also incorporate volume or strength indicator and not a pure price play. Does it then only make it immune or lesser prone to whipsaws compared to only price based models. And if i have to incorporate the strength indicator then which one should i use?

Sir i am asking only for my understanding and as DR sir said not for opening the JNSAR chamber of secrets :)

gm all.

H-JNSAR triggered short at 3pm yesterday.
Still below pivot.

EW counts -
5.i was 5168-4759
5.ii is a flat or irregular. If flat, we could have
completed a A-B-C there between 4730-5030.
5.iii could be starting. Need to break 4730 for confirm.

But because each time they fall...they never fail to rise again……..

any one in nifty short today?????????

Markets tend to flatten out by the time IIP nos comes ..
so m just shorting the nifty with 5060 as SL

golfdude said...

when are IIP numbers due ? I hate these days because
some manipulation happens when the numbers are
released and SLs get taken both sides.

somewhere by 11:30

@ AD,

To understand strength & weaknesses, price alone is enough. Though in the very short term, prices could be manipulated, it just can not be sustained.

There are momentum indicators with divergences which have consistently shown strength & weaknesses with +ve & -ve divergences. If one patiently waits to take only those trades ignoring all the rest, his/ her trading life would be relaxed.

Yesterday's fall was the handiwork of -ve div in 5-min T/F after the Hour reached Overbought.

Similarly if you get a -ve div in Hour, the fall will be more.
