@Master: I had entered into puts yest when nifty was @4665 as per your analysis of resistance ~4960-75 & thats exactly where it is resisting. But today, when nifty broke 4950, I covered it with profits since I did not see satisfactory volumes on the break.
Question:
Applying your methodology of part booking, I dont see a problem w.r.t futures, but I do not know how it should be done for options & that too so close to expiry since even minor movements in opp direction will cause lot of decay. Hence I end up booking all @~15% profits. Where am I wrong? How should profit booking be done in options? I feel this is different than futures since there is this decay factor.
I am sorry, if this reveals by trade, but I did not know how to ask this question without giving an example.

I never trade when close between HHEma-HLEma.

SL is one's personal choice based on money management.
ilango sir mostly recommends max 20pts. I feel that if
one plays multiple lot, then one can take profits
as the trade progresses and keep minimum lots until
trade reverses. So in our case, 4935 seems right.
Prabhat: Experience says, trading in options by applying
futures strategy may not work as options have premium
component which will erode over time, only best play
in option is during trending time.

Whatever sell is initiated, they are of aggressive kind as they are based on OB conditions only and now confirmed with a close below HHEma & HEma at 12.00Noon.
Larger correction will come only on a close below DHEma.
Depending on the T/F, keep your expectations.
As stated earlier, Month-Bear asserting @ 4969. And Week Bear/ BUll too would fight for a weekly close above "4911".
These two numbers are relevant now.
More could be considered once a close below DHEma is in place.

Today's 4977-4940 looks like an impulse. This cannot be
part of a flat ( unless it is A of 3 ). So either way,
being an impulse, we should assume that from 4940 to
4968 ( 76.4 retrace ), there is a potential for either
B of 3 ( or 2 of 5 ). So a short in that zone with a close
SL might be a decent aggressive trade ???

Jiggs - sorry missed out. My heartful wishes to your "blog journey". You have learnt hence opened a blog. Me still learning and not learnt much so no idea at all. Probably you are much ahead of others,nevertheless,feel @ this moment too early because after 2.30 P.M.if Nifty shall start to trade above 4968 comfortably then the possibility of new top can not be ignored..just have a look @ today’s 4900PE addition…But NF O.I. addition is denying Nifty to go up at this moment is my understanding,so if NF O.I.shall start to vanish i.e.short covering,then any thing is still possible from here. Let us see.picture abhi baki hai mere dost…
How much it shall be sustainable is another question for tomorrow but for today… my view is as said above.For a day,have drawn 4968 as laxman rekha for me…

Less aggressive, wait for confirm in next hour or

those are aggressive buys. You should ask Sir about
that. Those are usually pretty good calls has been
