Nifty Premarket View.

I would like our "Doctor friends" to respond to this:
Whenever a patient comes to the doctor complaining of an illness, the basic steps a doctor takes is to check the patient's
Heartbeat with his stethoscope
Pulse rate with his fingers
Blood pressure with BP monitor AND
more tests done from the labs if the situation warrants.
Such a disciplined doctor makes correct progress - the easy way..the disciplined way.
No doctor gets obsessed with BP or pulse, etc but uses it to gauge the severity of the illness and he does not treat the symptoms but the illness with the acquired knowledge of these symptoms that was generated by the illness.
IN MARKETS too, just the study of prices may give you only supports and resistances but never the strength/ weaknesses or their continuity. The oscillator- study is similar to various tests done by the doctor to know the nature of the illness (One such example is given below with the 9 day Rsi chart) and using these one follows the market well.
Knowing about the disease is the primary job of the doctor and he does a better job of it by using these study of symptoms. Even EW practioners have found the use of oscillators as a great guide to label the moves - ask Robert Prechter.
As long as the trader limits himself to the study of oscillators/ indicators as "tools" only to understand the market's strength/ weakness/ direction and NOT get carried away/ obsessed by them, he/she would be on his/her path to "Getting rich slowly".

Weakness in EURO is really worrisome. When I thought it's breaking out of the channel.. it just gave up the ground and fell >1% in < a day. Is it a fake breakout?

Any forex experts shed some light on it??

Trading below 5320(Pivot), it confirms the "b" wave of 4th wave and it may revisit 5285-5260 (OR lower)before breaking out.Above 5335, it will be a break out.

Dr.Jignesh,

Thank you.

Hi Ilango Sir & Friends,

Good Morning.

@gd
don't follow both. Both are experts in giving SL triggering calls. But when compared both, indiainfo calls are some what better than ventura calls.

I'm thoroughly confused - now. But happy that my shorts of yesterday are safe.:)

manojag said...

Ilango, GM,
You mean to say is that yesterday's rise was 'b' within 4th and the downfall of today which may go down to 5285 levels would be 'c' of 4th and 5th would commence on the upside which would be confirmed on the break out of 5335.
best

Gm Illango sir,
Yesterday I regular ask regarding my short position & you
Promptly guide me over it.
Thx alot to all your reply to me which give confidence to
carry my shorts.
I place 5344 NS as my sl.
It comes upto 5340 & retarce also Nf premium become very less
from 10-12 to just 4 points.
Now as u confirm this is a B wave I will hold my shorts for
5260 & sl 5335.
Am I pretaining right Sir?

Ilangoji,

Should I square off my Nifty longs taken @5338 NF levels now?

satheesh said...

Good morning Ilango sir and all,

Sir, Todays low shown in my market watch is 5293.4. Can it be considered as a support near 5285?

Ilango said...

@ manojag,

Yes. And the 4th could also be labelled as "abcde" in case of shallow correstion upto 5285-5260. In such a case, yesterdays "5339" may be labelled as "d" and the "e" is unfloding down to complete the 4th.

Incase of a zigzag, it could get deeper towards 5245-5225.

golfdude said...

@Hari,

I meant ventura gave a buy call for INDIA INFO scrip.

Ilango said...

@ Satheesh,

ORB is 5323.80 to 5295.35. Give it 2-3 points leeway and trade.

@ FIRE,

You can keep 5290 as SL (5 points below the low of 5295) or exit on intra rises @ 5320-5330.

satheesh said...

Sir can you please post a chart with the EW markings? It is always easy to follow your charts rather than just the values. I have always felt your charts to be self explanatory.

Mr GG said...

Hi Ilango,

Since the gap down is from above Day High EMA, we should revisit
abt 5320 where shorts can be initiated?

Ilango said...

Yes..GG, Only for the day unless closes below 5275.

San said...

Hai everyone

Possibility of an inverse head and shoulders if the hour closes above 5300 in nifty futures
