It is all about "Doing"

There was a group called 'The Fisherman's Fellowship'. They were surrounded by streams and lakes full of hungry fish. They met regularly to discuss the call to fish, and the thrill of catching fish. They got excited about fishing!!

Someone suggested that they needed a philosophy of fishing, so they carefully defined and redefined fishing, and the purpose of fishing. They developed fishing strategies and tactics. Then they realized that they had been going at it backwards. They had approached fishing from the point of view of the fisherman, and not from the point of view of the fish. How do fish view the world? How does the fisherman appear to the fish? What do fish eat, and when? These are all good things to know. So they began research studies, and attended conferences on fishing. Some traveled to far away places to study different kinds of fish, with different habits. Some got PhD's in fishology. But no one had yet gone fishing.

So a committee was formed to send out fishermen. As prospective fishing places outnumbered fishermen, the committee needed to determine priorities.

A priority list of fishing places was posted on bulletin boards in all of the fellowship halls. But still, no one was fishing. A survey was launched, to find out why… Most did not answer the survey, but from those that did, it was discovered that some felt called to study fish, a few to furnish fishing equipment, and several to go around encouraging the fisherman.

What with meetings, conferences, and seminars, they just simply didn't have time to fish.

Now, Jake was a newcomer to the Fisherman's Fellowship. After one stirring meeting of the Fellowship, Jake went fishing. He tried a few things, got the hang of it, and caught a choice fish. At the next meeting, he told his story, and he was honored for his catch, and then scheduled to speak at all the Fellowship chapters and tell how he did it. Now, because of all the speaking invitations and his election to the board of directors of the Fisherman's Fellowship, Jake no longer has time to go fishing.

But soon he began to feel restless and empty. He longed to feel the tug on the line once again. So he cut the speaking, he resigned from the board, and he said to a friend, "Let's go fishing." They did, just the two of them, and they caught fish.

The members of the Fisherman's Fellowship were many, the fish were plentiful, but the fishers were few.
Come.. Lets all become fishers...

P.S: You may replace the words fishermen with traders ;fish with trade and fishing with trading.
The "FISHERMAN" we met yesterday, though must have disturbed a few, inspired this and we, at home, had a hearty laugh going through the whole thing again and again with all those subtle lines (tugs).

I have some suggestions for u if they r useful.

1)From a different no call ashwini gujral office. They offer new clients that they can talk to him. Once he is on line u can say what u want.
2)his strength is is popularity and that is his weakness too. Mention abt it in all possible forums. write to nse/sebi. go for arbitration. This will put a great amt of [pressure on him and he’ll be ready to negotiate
3) take help of a journalist in ur town. Even if u have to spend money get an article published in newspaper.send cutting to him It will put pressure on him.

Maybe these can work for u .

@ FISHERMAN

Loved you for deep insights. Do return everyday. Many here welcome whatever you bring - mackerel or shark or pomfret or anything as long it is a fish.

Vegetarians please pardon me

RM ji now you have learnt fishing try ur friends recipe

http://gjaggu.blogspot.com/search/label/Fish

due to fish pakora only Jaggu became TA

and the best thing in his recipe is

Method and Preparation:
First when buying Bangda fish from fisherwo-man, haggle with her/him, till s/he gives u some extra bangdas for same amount.if s/he doesnt relent, then consider walking off slowly move towards other seller...s/he will call u with voice louder than Disco music.. finally when transaction is done...tell her/him that s/he will have good business today.. sport a smiling face while paying...then run as fast u can...else u have to sleep on empty stomach.

Morale of the comment :

Replace Fisherman with RM (Not you Sir I mean Relation Manager) and Bangdas with Brokerage Plan

The Fisherman would have said-

Mr. Ilango
Fishing provides that connection with the whole living world. It gives you the opportunity of being totally immersed, turning back into yourself in a good way. A form of meditation, some form of communion with levels of yourself that are deeper than the ordinary self.

Mr. Piyush sharda
All cats love fish but fear to wet their paws

Mr.alphabet1
May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it.

Mr. Mok
Man and fish are alike. They both get into trouble when they open their mouths.Fisher‘man’ got the message that he has a ‘man’ in him.

@ Anuj,

Besides "being attacked by many", I am perennially having such attacks..a rarest form of illness since birth and my elders as well as colleagues were quite envious of it while I am quite oblivious to it until someone like you points out the same.

I am even accused of spreading it...

Funny thing is "I love noise" and grew up with it and it never bothered me like it does some quite learned ones. :)
