As the OI position in the futures market is quite high, the falling markets will induce "unwinding" from time to time.
Only when a temporary bottoming is visible with "OS & +ve div", should one attempt intra long trades.

If 5000-5025 area holds, there could be an intraday rally towards 5085 or 5110. That would be a time to exit your calls.
A decisive trade above 5135 alone can bring in a sustainable rally for few days.
We just can not ignore the big money outflow by way of FII figures. And the heavy OI positions in the futures market will weigh the markets down.

One of friend's asked me to check your blog. I recently read your old posts and I am amazed by your knowledge and cool mind while rest of us go through mostly conflicts of long or short (greed/fear).
There are so many quacks asking for money to give calls and there are so many parasites paying them too. But yours is a truly selfless venture.

Ticks r present near closing price icici 911.05,dlf 298.75,tmf 798 at that time futures prices r also there. So here shud we ignore few ticks can u write the closing prices so I can cross check. (I am bothering u too much??)

opening at 9.00.12 after 6 ticks, there r trades at
5063,5050,5040 etc u have ignored. this might be of help in

Don't be under so much tension..checking ticks and whether futures have opened or not
Just chill..take the first minute close as the opening price (in ATR calculator that I posted we take friday's close as high price for todays range!!!)Feel free to experiment
will not make any difference to your net worth..and mind will be free from "opening stress"
Try it..you will not see any difference.
Technical Analysis is more of art than science...where imperfection is rewarded and perfection leads to unnecessary stress
