Its the most difficult part of analysis here, if you know abt IV's then certainly it vl help, a rise in IV's generally at higher levels after a breakout/breakdown will attract sellers of the options, since they know trend will reverse and reduced in IV's itself will fetch good returns, best way is to i take in the money put call and one strike above and below for IV's analysis, i calculate every hour or at every major support /resistances to know. whether put/calls are trading at higher IV's or lower, it certainly helps, but cumbersome job to monitor and figured it out.

This is the "b" wave for the fall from 5213 to 4966. SO it will be tricky too. It may or may not go down one way...But the pressure is on.
If 5040 holds, it may attempt the highs again too.

As long as Nifty is below 5135, it is safe holding shorts.
Daily stochastics too trending down suggesting continuation of this down trend.
Holding shorts also depend on at what level you have initiated.
We have all kinds of traders trading various time frames - by half hour to 3-6 hours & days.
For positional plays, the "Premarket update" is sufficient.

Some profit booking could be done and reselling at higher levels OR just Hold.
