If NF is resisted @ 5340-5346 area, there is a possibility of Nifty coming off its high towards VAH(5304) initially. Further weakness can be only below 5304.

In nseindia.com, at the bottom you will find a box titled Quick Links. In that you will find India VIX. You can get VIX details there.

d method i used ws hedged beta than spread pair
trading with Stndrd Dvtn as beta..
to put simple..take any trade which is beta1
and hedge with nifty..the beta will move atleast 1 %
more thn nifty unless any news hit it:)

Macros can be made so that it pulls data EOD from Nse site itself so that it will be commom for all.so that daily downloading of file will not be required.

I do not follow HDFC. Looking at the "Bar chart", the near term range is 2655-2665 to 2825 to 2840.

It can be only "Yesterday's ema". If Nifty closes even 1 point above yesterday's ema, it turns up and that is how dynamic is "ema average" compared to "sma".
We can never know what is the ema for the day as it depends solely on the closing price...that too the averaged one.

McDowell: Seem to be consolidating in a range of "1200 to 1400" with short term pivot @ 1250.

ORB was 5331 to 5347 and NF broke the low but found support @ "Day High ema".
"5319NF" has been tested twice & holding. Range just expanded to 5319 to 5347.(28 points).

Today's close above 662 will give it short term strength.
