Lively Swarna gave lives to many on her death..

“I do not want her to suffer more, that is the reason why I am letting her go,” said Hemalatha as she fought back her tears. Her 19-year-old daughter, a student of Fashion Technology, had crashed through a glass floor panel and hit the ground 20 feet below at her college campus, sustaining serious head injuries.

She was shifted to Columbia Asia Hospital and was in a coma since then. Her classmates had protested and got the management to bear the initial hospital expenses, and had also raised their own funds for her treatment.
As the doctors were preparing to take Swarna off life support on Sunday evening, the only voice that could be heard in the ICU was that of her mother repeating Swarna’s name in hopeless tones. Swarna, except for the fact that her eyes were taped, looked like she was fast asleep. The bruises on her arms from the fall still seemed fresh. In fact, when this reporter visited the hospital, Hemalatha held her hand and asked in a trembling tone, “Do you want to see Swarna?” When she nodded in the affirmative, the mother took her inside the ICU. Swarna appeared to be asleep but the beeping monitor next to her bed, the tubes attached to her body and her taped eyelids pointed to the struggle her body had been through over the past 11 days.
On Friday, the doctors had informed her parents that Swarna’s brain had stopped responding to treatment. Internal bleeding in the brain had put an end to all hopes of her recovery. In other words, Swarna was brain dead. Her mother, who had given birth to Swarna on May 2, 1992, was faced with a decision no parent should have to make: Whether to have Swarna’s life support system unplugged.

Murmuring her daughter’s name over and over again, Hemalatha kissed each finger and toe of her child, just the way it must have been the day Swarna entered the world. The sight was heartrending — made more poignant by the fact that it was Christmas Day — and even the doctors and other medical staff present could not hide their tears. It was then announced that the ventilator would be switched off at 5 pm.

In one last futile gesture, Hemalatha patted her girl’s forehead and called out softly to her, as if hoping that she would open her eyes. She touched her nose gently, and caressed her daughter’s body again and again, knowing that her still-beating heart would stop very soon and with it the last remaining living functions of her body.

Nineteen years after she first held her newborn, Hemalatha Jaswanth kissed her daughter Swarna one last time on Sunday. The doctors attending on her, who had declared her brain dead on Friday, took her off life support as the family could not stand to see her suffer anymore.
In death, the fashion design student will give new hope to other critically-ill patients as her parents have decided to donate her vital organs.

Swarna’s elder brother Swaroop’s face was wet with tears. “She is going away today. Why did she choose to go away on this day? She came to Bangalore of her own choice to study,” he said. Swarna’s father, who had had a knee surgery recently, stayed outside, leaning on a walking stick, unable to console himself or his wife and son.
Harshith, Swarna’s friend, recalling the happier days, “She (Swarna) used to sit behind me in the class. She was talkative, lively and naughty. She was like one of the boys. Once she wore salwaar kameez to college and we were so surprised we told her it was the first time you are looking like a girl.” Harshith said just before the mishap, Swarna had invited her classmates to her house and promised to cook chicken for them. “She even called up her mother, asking for the recipe. Everything changed in minutes.” he said.

But, there’s the consolation that Swarna will continue to live on in the bodies of at least six other people. Her parents have decided to donate her heart, liver, kidney, lungs, corneas and pancreas, which will now be transplanted in donees. The Doctor who was attending to Swarna in the ICU said, “We rarely come across people who are comfortable with the idea of donating organs after death. There are people desperately battling for life who can be saved. Swarna’s parents have shown a humaneness of the highest order with their decision.”

The organs of Swarna Jaswanth, 20, who was declared brain-dead, were successfully transplanted on three recipients on Sunday night.

"Life is short, live to its fullest"

It is mandatory for every citizen of Singapore to donate all organs upon death unless opt out with valid reasons like religion do not allow...etc...

"had crashed through a glass floor panel and hit the ground 20 feet below"

I am angry over this. A glass floor panel ? This is in a
college with heavy foot traffic. And how well has this been
tested ? The only glass floor panel i have been on was
in Toronto but that was an attraction at a 1000ft above the
ground and it was scary as hell.

My condolences to the family.

Yes, GD. It happened because of negligence of the college management and gave excuses for the mishap.

Babies are dying in Kolkatta and concerned authorities are not serious about this.

Inactions and misdeeds should be made accountable and responsibilities should be fixed.

Reasons can never be solutions. Action is the need of the hour.

Good Morning Ilango Sir / Blog Mates,

Just one could cry for untimely death of a girl for no fault of her. The government should certify all buildings before put in to use. In future if such tragedy occurs the society will be able to fix the responsibility.

I pray to Almighty to give strength to the parents to bear this loss and though our sympathy is not going to help them at least our prayer will help them to move out of this tragic loss to lead a peace full life.

All I can think of is that there was another role ready
for her and she had to go and be there.

All have to go in various different ways.

What one gets to learn from this write up is that as
u go, give and go, so that some others life lights up.

BTW verdict is out :) so Nifty is allowed to rally some
more. :) Surprising thing is some people bought on
Friday knowing fully well that Sat was judgement day.
Surprising.

Dear Sir,
My condolences to the family.
This is painful indeed. So many incidents around
now a days. The bus driver incident in Pune has made
all to ponder that what work pressure can do to people.
People are not trained to deal with tensions. These
people are killing other people like antankwadis.
Entire society suffers due to lack of proper
management and attitude of few people to push their
work on to others.

colleges give good business in form of ads to
news paper so it takes care of clients not to bring them
bad name.

Trade Plan for 6th Feb.2012

In my earlier posting I have given maximum target of 5340 level.
(Tolerance limit of 10 Points ) Presently market touched the maximum of 5335.
Before reaching the target of 5335 market touched the low of 5077 and the count for the same is given below.

Wave a / 1 = 5077 - 5215 = 138 Points
Wave b / 2 = 5215 - 5159 = 56 Points
Wave a - c / 3 = 5159 - 5290 = 130 Points
Wave b - c / 4 = 5290 - 5225 = 65 Points
Wave c - c / 5 = 5225 - 5335= 110 Points

From the above it is obvious market can go maximum of another 29 points since Wave 3 can not be shortest. The length of Wave 3 is 130 points and Wave 5 can be maximum of 129 points. Please note Wave 5 has already moved 110 points. Thus market has potentiality to go maximum of 5354.

As per the above analysis I am of the opinion market reached its top. But we can not take market behavior has granted and it has it's own way of behaving. Hence it is advisable to wait for confirmation for reversal of trend which can be confirmed when market goes below 5077. But as far as Intra day calculation is concerned market is likely to correct from current level.

CONCLUSION
A good trade set up exists at current level hence one can initiate Short at current level with stop loss price of 5358. I t is advisable to exit when one made a profit of 40 to 60 points or alternatively do their trade management by Trailing the Stop Loss. Once market crossed 5358 initiate Short at 5420 / 5435 with stop loss price of 5450 and reason for the same is explained below.

NOTE
The above calculations are made based on the assumption that Wave 3 may not sub divide and progress further. In case Wave 3 sub divides then the possible target will be moved to 5420 / 5435 and accordingly initiate short at 5420 / 5435 with Stop Loss Price of 5450.

Since the present up move is 5th wave, only 5th wave can extend further. But at the same time Wave 3 is smaller than Wave 1 under these circumstances Wave 5 logically will be less than Wave 3. Hence my assumption Wave 3 sub division is ruled out. Thus the the current up move is locked at or below 5355.

Also note our market has been reacting as per Dow Jones positions in the morning sessions and once Europe opens at 1.30 p.m. our market has been reacting to it. In US
market all their index are nearer to 52 Week High or crossed it marginally.
Where as FTSE is presently in the 78% retracement zone.

And as per my above observation / understanding, market may open flat to positive and trade narrowly to reach the level of 5420 / 5435 or alternatively in the morning session itself it will start moving down ward direction. Extreme caution is required for another two trading sessions for the reasons explained above.
