So far Day TA has not been reversed to down. A close below DHEma is the 1st step to sell on rises.
Presently Nifty is within the rising channel and getting the OB hour TA corrected.
Today's close for Daily & tomorrows close for Weekly will confirm a reversal or continuation of status quo.
As long as Nifty is below med. term avgs such as 50(5640); 100(5600) & 200(5730), such sharp falls could happen. And once the day trend changes to down, more falls will unfold.
If day trend continues to be up and holds above 5455, 5640+ may be possible.
Thanx....this time i was with cautious approach so got proper opportunity to catch the ball at right time. Now i hope, Investor will come to save it at 10500 only:)
Stock market is the place where one must be mentally prepared to give loss sometimes, either its not the right place for him. I m holding my puts & yesterday i shorted Nifty future too in bulk at 5590, which i mentioned here so many times. I m enjoying by trading in my shorts holding, my stop loss is 5635 and target is 5450-5400 1st, then 5330 and dont ask if 5330 broken:) Do u know that by trading in my holding, my average in future is greater than my stop loss & my puts cost is just 25-30 bucks only:)
@Kumar Sir: "Do u know that by trading in my holding, my average in future is greater than my stop loss & my puts cost is just 25-30 bucks only:)" - yeah baat dimak mai ghusa nahi ... Can you kindly explain as to what you mean by that :)
5458.60 is the 3day low, now 4 day Low and by tomorrow, it will be 5 day low - hence 5455 holding.
The upmove from 5328 to 5597 could be termed as 2nd wave(1st wave being 5944 to 5328)within which "a" wave has been done and a complex "b" is underway, followed by a "c" wave in which 50sma is the next target as 100sma has been done and 200sma is far away.(A conservative view).
Hitz - Reposting for you. Last 2 months r sluggish. this is not the right time for puts/call buyers according to me. Big player like Kumar sir can do. Even though i know my level very best, i will not cross "multiple lots" First "protect ur capital + increase your capital" that's y i am always "easy to trade" . before taking "position" pls. think whether you can have that capacity?? pls. don't mistaken me. As me too lost heavily initially. just a small "experience" posting here.
I am a very poor technical person. Hence trading as much as simple. No time for complicated tough method, after all I am a retailer not a HNI ,FII or DII. My simple strategy is as follows – if time permits read it out -
1) Will not hold nd sit tight with my option. trade every day. say, you have bought a put option at 100, if it comes to 90, will not wait for it to go above 100 to book profit, I will sell my option on markets intraday fall and then you buy back the option on market rise and pocket the difference of at least 10 to 15. as much as possible I will not carry.
2) whether market goes up or down or flat, option value will reduce by at least 5 points every day, due to time decay it will reduce.
3) writing options have a much better chance of gain than buying options.
4) Option value goes down by 25% also I will book LOSS. Instead of ZERO position this is better if I hold then success rate will be less.
5) Timing is impt. I will observe the price behaviour, if it’s flexible within 8-10 points I will trade whether call/put or else will not trade.(brokerage around 40-45rs per lot) I will book profit regarding my CAM,FIBO level.
6) We must have our “OWN MENTAL QUIT LEVELS” say about 5-10 points to avoid bigger loss.
7) Always my entry point is “high” of nifty spot and will book profit wherever I am comfortable will not wait for target.
8) Options value will “lose their value” at week end and @ closing time. Observe this.
PS : I fullfilled my "space" quota @ one Go sir. don't curse me :)
U r right, U r not FII, HNI & DII but u r an istitute urself. Very nice presentation, most important thing which i do...always trade in my part holding of options & that gives me something daily:)
It seems, it is Good to be quiet & follow seniors while learning. It helps a lot. Thanks Sujatha for sharing your trading style. Bye All and Have a nice evening.
