Trading plan for Thursday:
Aggressive trades -
Buy JNSAR ( 5030 ) and watch for R1/W-Pivot ( 5053/57 ) and invalidation points ( 5070/5120 ).
Below 4985, short with 5005 SL ( prev invalidation point )
Conservative trades -
Add shorts until 5120 taken.
Notes:
If we close above 5076 ( W-JNSAR ), this will be first
cross at weekly level after July. ( 500 pts gained )
Monthly trend is down.
Week trend is neutral as closing above WLEma.
Close above W-5Ema ( 5030 ) means trend change in higher TF. Fightback week on.
Starting day ABOVE pivot.
EW thoughts:
Wave 4 or 5 ???
5.ii.a and 5.ii.b being same is strange but that could be a flat.
If 5.ii.c ends at 5030, then we have a flat.
And potential 5.iii starting - hoping to break 4910. Else extended flat.
If 4, then 5070 and 5120 break will lead to 5360. From a
timeframe perspective, we have 11 days left ( wave 4 same timeframe
as wave 3 ( 23 ) ). Wave 1 ended at 5497 ( so we are fine retracing
to 5360 assuming a=c ). Issue is Wave 4 usually dont go beyond 50% of Wave 3 which means
a top at 5210 is possible for Wave 4.
One problem I have with this being wave 4 zigzag ( and hence
5360 target ), is that then Wave A ( 4720-5170 ) should have
been an impulse which I dont see ( see it as A-B-C ). So
my bet is that we dont break 5070 and this is 5 and
wave 5.ii is a flat.

I am convinced that this is 5.ii and not 4 at all. Because
Wave A should be close to 50% of previous degree wave 5 ( 4966 to 4720 ).
So 4720-5170 cannot be wave A of 4. Confirm ?

I have modified the JNSAR trigger for the day to 5027(developing one for tomorrow) mainly because of the expected profit booking from the gap up.
Keep 20 points filter now to manage it.

5066 was the first halt of the rally from 4720 and the same happens to be today's high.

@all,
I have a simple idea for JNSAR entry/exit ( do we need to go long or short ? ). I get confused all the time. So now, in an excel sheet I track close and jnsar
daily. And I added a line chart which shows both these
column values. From the chart you can see how the close
breaks into JNSAR ( from above or below ). You can use
that to decide to go long or short.
I am not sure if I am doing the right thing. But from the
chart it seems that this should work.

your numbers are possible. I need to look at that range. I went with
what ilango sir game me as the impulse down.
1=5740-5497 ( 240 )
2=5497-5702 ( 200 !!! )
3=5702-4720 ( 1000 = 4*Wave1 )
4=4720-5170 ( 450 = 50%* Wave3 )
5=5170-???
We have been discussing based on this. It will be very useful
to look at a degree above too. Problem I saw ( based on
aarvee's long term EW analysis and I think Sir is also
same opinion ) is that we are in a Primary Wave 4 since 2008.
And we are in some kind of flat or irregular after that.
I want to get into this Wave 4 sometime this weekend
and get more understanding hopefully.
