harmonic pattern study is mainly fibo retracement calculations. I have just modified the fibonacci table which sir provided earlier to get the bullish patterns and bearish patterns. The major factor which one should know is where to mark the XA wave. Normally i take the completion of one pattern as the start of the another.
Normally I take the D of a pattern as the Xof the next. I shall mail you the modified fibo excel sheet by which we can easily key in the data to find the retracement.
As in case of EW theory there are few rules to be followed. Then an entry with small SL definetely provides good results.

we as small traders compete against fastest computers and brains. so when we apply any
study to our trading we have to go deep into it.
else it confuses. it takes weeks. after studying it takes months to watch live market with respect to that study. then we can use it for few months to see it is useful for us or not.the process takes long . i have studied so many things of ta which i have not applied and forgotten in few weeks. no use of it. so whatever we do we shud put good effort else ...
i feel we can survive the markets with deep knowledge of few subjects. we cant survive the markets with little knowledge of many subjects.

Piyush - true we have to do a detailed study. As far as trading is concerned one should choose the method which is comfortable for him/her rather than trying hands at all types of methods. We can combine and verify if our trading system is good - then stick on to it. This would ensure disciplined trade!!

If it is the "b" wave, it is tough to trade. "b" waves are the places, most traders lose money.
Based on Technical indications, it is a sell on rises in the short term as long as "one of the retrace points of 4720 to 5065" is held by 06th & 7th.
If moves below 4970(Wk.pivot as well as 5 DEma), 4935 to 4885 are the supports that should hold for continuation of this uptrend failing which deeper correction is most likely.

@Piyush - very true..and it's not must that v should know all the technical terms and parameters used in the market. If v r earning good in any "one method" that's the pure TA :) (ha ha 99% nothing going into my mind hence this explanation)
