Infosys result's day is considered one of highest volatility day since last 10 yrs. So huge whipsaws are normal today, one should be cautious in all manner. If Nifty sustain below 5850 then total reversal possible today.

Good morning & thanx for ur comment. I found wednesday's candle & pattern similar to 16th May 2006. Infosys result supporting my view, so trend reversal possible today. Any bullish possibility need a strong close above 5930-5950 area.

Kumar Sir - your "top for the exipiry" view is not disproved convincingly yet. At the same time, some of the lead indicators are fighting the bulls battle now. Something smelling...+DR is fuelling the Son for the battle.

I was short heavily at day end on Wednesday... the trouble is unable to decide whether to hold on or close...
Holding a winning position and Closing a losing position is the toughest thing to do...
At one end there is a DR, RG who claim new highs.. there is another end kumar and PowerTrade who claim abyss...
May be the truth lies somewhere in between... who knows...

I agree that SAR was long n very few would have taken shorts but is not market formed of both sides...so in that context i wanted to ask if there was anybody forecasting the weakness at the peak...
I was not 100% sure hence i just used 1 lot which forms part of risk management....and later at the close of the day i got the confirmation in the charts n numbers...
Whatever market study you make has some probability of deceiving you...u just need to remain flexible and treat the reading with open mind...i may have got a lil excited here and i regret for any inappropriate comments.
I remind myself always that in market my success is only as good as my last one...Nobody can proclaim of Superiority...i will certainly not..thanks

Nifty retraced exactly 61.8% of the last rise of 5735-5924.
An excellent IPL match today between the bulls & bears! Who will win? But anyway JNSAR is due for a big match-winning innings now. The only thing is nobody knows which team it will belong to. :D
5924-5847 = 77 points
5884-5806 = 78 points

For us Bears reborn, the good news is Nifty is currently Daily & Weekly Pivot and closeby is Weekly Cam S3 & Daily Cam S4 both @ 5808 which has been tested once. This 5808 is also 61.8% retarcement level and a channel upper boundary and Daily LEMA for this hour. So this MUST break for us bears to breath a bit freely.

Yes, a pullback more than that could imply a retracement for the total downmove of 5924-5806. Hope Master will come now.
