Any one noticed fast fall setup before lasted fall?
After fall checked & I thick there was such fast fall setup in nsetracker blog. Is my reading correct?

Chandra

heading to 6050 ++++

Ilango said...

Debdeep,

That is a concern, definitely.

It could be either due to consolidation phase

OR

It could be due to "deceptive selling" above 6000.

Debdeep said...

In uptrend, the short term avg (5sma) trends above a medium term avg (20 sma) and when a correction sets in, the 5 sma will turn down and moves towards 20 sma. When the correction ends and if the 5 sma comes closer to 20 sma and turns up without beaching it - that would be a fast rise set up.
Opposite of that would be fast fall set up.

A bullish Straddle.
Buy 600 Ce @ 105
Short 6100 Ce @ 60
Target 6100 Sl-5965

POWERTRADE said...

Now if Nf crosses 6027 then straight way to 6050

In which TIMEFRAME u watch the EMAs,is it in hourly?

alpesh said...

dear sir Ilango ,
can i fresh buy nifty if cross 20 sms@6030 ns?
regards
Alpesh

Chandra said...

@Debdeep,

Which Time frames to watch 5 & 20 smas fast fall/rise setup?
Chandra

Ilango said...

@ alpesh,

Nifty has quite many resistances @ 6050. There could be quite choppiness around that mark.

If Nifty moves past smoothly and stays above 6050, that would be quite bullish.

Keeping this in mind, you may trade.

i think today nifty will make doji pattern in daily chart...

Ilango said...

If it is indeed the "v" th waave from the low of 5690, its target could be equal to the "i"(5690 to 5818=128;

5964 + 128 = 6092(61.8% retracement of this downfall from 6339 to 5690)

Holding 5990 is a min. requirement for this upmove.

terageet said...

@ Debdeepji
Thank you for sharing,
could you also share the TF please
Kind regards

Ilango said...

@ dular,

6030-6090 area would be the upper band of a consolidation range.

In the lower band of 5935-5965, Nifty has tested 5965 today.

It is possible after the upmove, Nifty could test 5935 next week during corrections.

Below 5935, it'll turn bearish..(to be verified at that juncture)

Dinesh kumar said...

sir,is there any elliotwave calculaor
r how can we find the waves

dular said...

Sir,
if ns don't hold 5990 at EOD
do i initiate short today?

Ilango said...

Keep looking at the prices unfolding in some order after having referred/ seen the "labelled charts in various EW books as well as in this site itself.

It will come with experience. Don't ever strain to look for waves.

If it is not obvious, there isn't any.

piyush sharda said...

piyush sharda said...

Dinesh kumar said...

closing below DHEma is first sign of shorting

u.k.Raj said...

@piyush
Yes you are right

alpesh said...

Hi dear Ilango,
in daily bank nifty chart it could test channel
support so we hold our long position so also we manage
long position in nifty too
plz give some suggestion
regards,

Debdeep said...

Fast Rise setup still persisting on 30 min chart and looks like we will achieve 6090 by next couple of trading days. But pls note that I am still learning this setup learnt from Ilango Sir only.

Ilango said...

@ Piyush,

If the "v" don't materialise, then this upmove is an "abc" of A and the "B" wave is on having a total trading week ahead.

"5935" being a support that held on 3 occasions in the last upmove is quite important.
However, these are to be taken as guideline only.

rpthurai said...

Bye Master, Friends. Have a wonderful week end.

piyush sharda said...

ok sir,
I was just fixated in 5 wave upmove seeing the pace of rise in zigzag, it is stop for plan b if it’s a flat/irregular. Suppose if it turns to be a 5 wave affair then wave 1 top 5820 shud be
Protected. So to ride c of abc frm 5690 we might have to lower it. Guess I am thinking too much or imagining u may say

Rajagopal said...

Bye Sir and Friends. May this great week culminate into a greater week end.

Bye Ilango Sir and Friends. Have a wounderful week end.
