Getting rid of ghosts

For years, Hitoshi tried in vain to awaken the love of the woman he believed to be the love of his life. But fate is ironic: on the very day that she finally accepted him as her future husband, she learned that she had an incurable disease and would not live for very much longer.

Six months later, when she was about to die, she said to him:

‘Promise me one thing: never fall in love with anyone else. If you do, I will come every night to haunt you.’

And then she closed her eyes for ever. For many months, Hitoshi avoided other women, but fate continued to be ironic, and he discovered a new love. When he was preparing to remarry, the ghost of his ex-beloved kept her promise and appeared to him.

‘You are betraying me,’ the ghost said.

‘For years, I offered you my heart and you rejected me,’ replied Hitoshi. ‘Don’t you think I deserve a second chance of happiness?’

But the ghost of his ex-beloved was not interested in excuses and came every night to frighten him. It described in detail what had happened during the day, the words of love that he had spoken to his fiancée, the kisses and embraces they had exchanged.

Hitoshi could no longer sleep and so he went to consult the Zen master Basho.

‘It’s certainly a very intelligent ghost,’ said Basho.

‘It knows everything down to the last detail! And now it’s ruining my relationship because I can’t sleep and during intimate moments with my fiancée, I feel somehow constrained.’

‘Don’t worry, we’ll get rid of the ghost,’ said Basho.

That night, when the ghost returned, Hitoshi spoke first, before the ghost could say a word.

‘You’re such a clever ghost, I’d like to make a deal with you. Since you watch me all the time, I’m going to ask you about something I did today. If you answer correctly, I will give up my fiancée and never take another wife. If you answer wrongly, you must promise never to appear again, or else be condemned by the gods to wander for ever in the darkness.’

‘Agreed,’ replied the ghost confidently.

‘This afternoon, when I was in the grocer’s shop, at one point, I picked up a handful of grain from a sack.’

‘Yes, I saw you,’ said the ghost.

‘My question is the following: how many grains of wheat did I have in my hand?’

The ghost realised that it would never be able to answer that question and, in order to avoid being pursued by the gods into eternal darkness, it decided to disappear for ever.

Two days later, Hitoshi went to Basho’s house.

‘I came to thank you.’

‘Be sure to learn the lessons your experience has taught you,’ said Basho. ‘First: the spirit kept coming back because you were afraid. If you want to rid yourself of a curse, simply ignore it. Second: the ghost took advantage of your feelings of guilt. Whenever we feel guilty, we always unconsciously long to be punished. And finally, no one who truly loved you, would force you to make such a promise. If you want to understand love, first learn about freedom.’

Nifty confirms the reversal with a follow up action.

Nifty is trending up with intra running corrections..Reduce longs only on a fall below 3440 or 3405.
The minor -ve div in 5-minute may be due to running correction. A gap up will set it alright.
Shortened settlement week will be packed with action. Trade the direction and start booking out in parts as per your risk profile.
Daily stochastics is moving up halfway, indicating uptrend for a minimum of 2 days. Buy on dips should continue.Hourly low ema @ 3444 will be an aggressive SL for longs.

Nifty reverses with a 2 day swing, keeps the channel intact & closes above 5-DMA for the 5th burst..!!

Nifty reversed just near the channel bottom after consolidating for the past 5 days with a series of LH &LLs.
The low ema gave the perfect low for the day. Only a close below will warrant an aggressive shorting exposure.
5DMA has turned up again indicating fast moves ahead. And so too stochastics in daily charts.
Though Nifty went past the high ema but has closed below that.Momentum increases on a close above that.
Sl for longs should be around 3370.
As Nifty has closed above the 200DMA again(3395), it should become a support zone.

I wish to stress a point here: Never miss a divergence play. Big money is made on them..please.

Nifty confirms the short term trend down..but "OS"..!!

Channel break is below 3295. A gap down can target upto 3160.
A close above 3365 is the min. requirement to arrest the downtrend. 2-Day swing reversal is above 3415.
Lower highs and lower lows are continuing.
There is minor positive divergences in the "5-Minute" charts.
There is no secular downtrend and stock specific buying & selling continues with some stocks hitting new highs of this uptrend with good volumes.
Till the weekly trend turns down(Below 3150), look out for some buying opportunities in "corrected stocks" in the coming days.

Nifty corrects as long as 3310 holds & falls below 3265..!!

Series of lower tops indicating profit booking/ selling at higher levels.
Lows in the range of 3300 - 3350 has been holding well so far in the last many days.
If this is a 4th wave, then a reversal from 3314 will make new highs..
Incase of a fall, 10 DMA at 3325-3350 might offer support.
A Fall below 3314 may lead to 3285-3250.
If Nifty holds 3312 and moves past 3414/3441 levels, it may get higher.

Nifty's corrective scenario.

With world markets having started a big gap down fall suggesting a correction to the entire rise from the March lows, the likely retracements work out to:
23.6% - 3281
38.0% - 3142
50.0% - 3025
61.8% - 2910

This retracement will happen in two phases with a rally inbetween. A most likely one is to take a support at 20SMA first(3150-3175) and a rally & then a fall towards 50 SMA(2970-3025).

Trade accordingly.

Nifty finds buying at 3300-3350 during corrections..with series of lower tops..

Series of lower tops indicating profit booking/ selling at higher levels.
Lows in the range of 3300 - 3350 has been holding well so far in the last many days.
If this is a 4th wave, then a reversal from 3300 will make new highs..Incase of a fall, 10 DMA at 3325-3350 might offer support.
A Fall below 3350 may lead to 3285-3250.
Hourly high ema gave the loss of momentum few days ago and the same has reflected in the daily high ema. The low emas have been giving reasonable supports so far. Though Nifty has closed below 5 DMA for the past 3 days, it has managed to close above 5 EMA all these days.
If Nifty holds 3300 and moves past 3410/3425 levels, it may get higher.
Individual stocks are finding volume based buying after some corrections suggesting the past few days moves as "Corrections".Use the world cues to your advantage and play by our market's technicals.
Positive divergence during the afternoon fall resulted in a strong bounce. The corrections can continue for more days if the sloping topline is not broken on the upside.(3470)
